How we operate in EMEA

Sydney delivery, EMEA network.

EMEA delivery happens in Australian morning time, which overlaps the European afternoon and is ideal for candidate calls. We are a specialist partner rather than a generalist EMEA search desk: deep AI engineering, founding engineer, forward deployed, and senior leadership profiles are where our reach is strongest.

For domestic European generalist searches, a UK-or-EU-based firm is usually a better fit. For specialist or cross-border briefs, we are the natural primary partner.

London (UK)

London is the densest engineering market in EMEA outside continental capitals, with deep talent pools in fintech (Monzo, Wise, Revolut, Cleo, Plaid), AI (DeepMind, Stability, ElevenLabs, Faculty, Cohere), and the listed financial services tail. Senior IC bands run GBP 90-150k base; staff and principal extend higher with equity.

Dublin (Ireland)

Dublin holds significant US tech presence (Stripe, Workday, Intercom, HubSpot, Salesforce) plus a domestic scale-up tail. Salaries track London within 5-10% at senior IC. Tax-efficient stock plans frequently outweigh base differences.

Amsterdam (Netherlands)

Amsterdam concentrates around Adyen, Booking, Mollie, Picnic, Bunq plus the AI-native scale-up tail. Bilingual English engineering culture; senior IC base at EUR 90-140k.

Berlin (Germany)

Berlin has the broadest startup engineering scene in continental Europe (N26, Trade Republic, Razor, Personio plus the AI tail). Senior IC base EUR 90-140k; lower than London at like-for-like seniority but with stronger work-life expectations.

Remote-first EMEA

Roughly 35% of EMEA senior placements are remote-first across multiple countries. Tax, payroll and time-zone cadence (full overlap with European business hours, half overlap to AU) are part of intake calibration.
